What to Do with Sticker Collection – Practical Way of Using the Sickers
Table of Contents
Many individuals have items they collect or buy, and the most of the time, the material just sits there. Many individuals collect stickers. Adults and children alike gather stickers for the sake of collecting them. While studying creative business, I grew attracted in the current sticker world. Its exhibit, which was loaded with adorable, glittering stickers, drew me in.
I used to like going to the card store in my hometown and spending my allowance on as many stickers as I could get my hands on. This was the time of neon everything, freezy freakies and scrunchies, the color-changing gloves.
Stickers may be applied to nearly any surface, including computers, notebook, binders, picture frames, mirrors, and more. I’ve tried to compile a list of locations to where you can stick your stickers. In addition to that I would like show you what else you can do with stickers except place them on things? I’ll also show you some more sticker options, such as using them in a scrapbook or making a hair item! (Believe me, that last one isn’t as cheesy as it sounds!) Ready?
Sometimes I collect as many stickers as possible for things I’m interested in, such as movies, music, TV, and so on, and they end up collecting dust in a drawer. Or perhaps you used them on something and ran out of space. Stickers are a great way to show someone’s personality and interests without really saying them. Other uses of Stickers
Stickers on Laptop
This is most likely the most frequent way to use your sticker collection. You may apply stickers of any size on the outside and interior of your laptop. If you’re at school or prefer to sit in coffee shops with your laptop and have a lot of stickers on it, you could start up a discussion with someone who shares your interests.
It may be a comparable college, a sentence from a TV program, or just something you’re interested in, such as coffee. Make your laptop your own personal area by decorating it with stickers or creating a collage of it.
Stickers on Reusable Water Bottle
Do you want to help save the earth while simultaneously expressing yourself? You may place the stickers all around the bottle, whether they are basic or have a pattern or an attractive picture on them. It can show off your style if you carry it with you when you’re out and about. Just make sure not to get them wet or they will be damaged or peel off. You’ll be staying hydrated while also revealing yourself!
Pasting Stickers on Notebook
Recall when we were kids and we used to get books and put stickers in them when we were potty-trained or accomplished something good? Now that we’re older, we’re definitely carrying about some form of book, whether it’s a notepad for school, a planner, a diary, a song book, or anything else. So, if the cover is a little dull, why not slap some of your stickers on it to liven it up a little? After all, if it’s your book, why not cover it with stuff you like? Just be careful that the stickers may come off if you slid it in and out of a bag.
Stickers on Car
This is most likely one of the most common ways to use your stickers. Most people place bumper stickers on their cars, which are just long, rectangular stickers with sayings, but other individuals use alternative stickers. So, whether you want people to know who you are supporting in the election, to wish them a good day, or simply because you like Spongebob, if you have a car, take your sticker collection with you. Just be aware that weather might affect them, and they may be difficult to remove if you sell the car.
Phone case
Stickers on your phone cover are useful if you have little stickers or a simple case. A transparent case is ideal for this circumstance since all of the stickers will be visible and there will be no distractions behind them. You carry your phone everywhere, so it’s possible that they’ll become a bit twisted, but think of the new friends you’ll make if they complement your case. If you’re afraid about them falling off, cover them with little bits of tape.
4 Methods for Organizing Your Sticker Addiction
An addiction to stickers may lead to a slew of other addictions, such as Instagram and sticker addiction and extra. I may not have stated it, but my mother, friends, and boyfriend would all agree that I am also hooked to organizing. Because of my obsession, I’ve tried everything, and I’d want to share the benefits and drawbacks of each sticker storage method with you.
1.The Pocket Folder
You know those one-dollar storage folders you can purchase at Target or the dollar store? Occasionally referred to as “coupon organizers?” This was the first way I tried, and for a beginner or someone who doesn’t have as many stickers as I have, it may be the ideal answer.
PROS:
- There is no need for any setup.
- Low-cost and easily accessible
- It is quite easy to transport and store.
- It may be stacked in a drawer and stored away.
- Sizes range from small to large to fit different sticker sheet sizes.
CONS:
- Can get clogged
- They do not stand up on their own.
- Not the finest product in the world; you can’t view the entire sheet of stickers at once.
- There are just a few pockets in which to store and arrange stickers.
2.The Photo Album:
I was convinced this was the one, and it may be for some. A little picture album has a lot of useful features, and I believe it is best suited for someone with a modest sticker collection. They may be obtained at the dollar shop, and everyone appreciates a good deal for a buck!
PROS:
- Simple to store
- Suitable for travel
- Covers that are customizable
- Relatively inexpensive and widely available
- It protects and keeps sticker sheets flat.
CONS:
- Does not accommodate huge sticker sheets.
- It takes a long time to trim sheets to fit.
- It’s difficult to add additional stickers in the midst of a category.
- Only holds a limited number of sheets (I think I had 5 of them at one time!)
3.The Micro Binder:
When mini binders were introduced in the Target dollar section, they quickly became popular. They have adorable prints, and who can resist something miniature? This was the second option I tried, and it relieved me (largely) of the clump of pocket files to which I had grown used.
This approach worked well for sticker sheets the size of the KG Planner sheets…
and not much else, in my view.
PROS:
- It is simple to flick through
- Most sticker sheets are compatible.
- Page protectors keep sticker sheets secure and flat by allowing you to see the entire page at once.
- Dividers make it simple to organize by category or shop.
- Any purse that can accommodate your planner can also fit a tiny binder.
CONS:
- It necessitates more initial setup and money.
- NOT ALL STICKER SHEETS FIT
- Mini binders and dividers might be difficult to obtain in retailers.
- It might be aggravating to have to pull stickers in and out of the page protector.
- A sticker sheet that is too tiny does not fit properly in a page protector.
4.The Cardstock Approach:
This method has just gained popularity in the Facebook sticker world, and I couldn’t pass it up! So I spent two hours and three sticky rollers experimenting with the current craze. This strategy, in my opinion, is ideal for folks who have a huge sticker collection that they are continually adding to.
PROS:
- Displays the complete sheet
- It’s simple to add new sheets or reorganize existing ones.
- It’s simple to browse through and arrange.
- Small sticker sheets are held in place by this device.
- It truly fits ALL sticker sheets.
CONS:
- Material expenses will be higher up front.
- Not as transportable (but still doable)
- It takes time to hole punch cardboard and glue on stickers.
- Once the stickers are bonded down, they are more difficult to remove
